Set amidst lush greens, this eco-luxury farmhouse is envisioned as a calm retreat that connects deeply with its landscape. The planning flows organically — every space opens into nature, allowing the home to breathe, feel light, and stay alive throughout the day.

The primary goal for this project was to design a space that offers an immediate escape from the chaotic pace of city life. The architectural footprint was carefully planned to preserve the existing mature trees and natural topography of the site. Instead of imposing a rigid structure onto the land, VishwArchitecture designed a home that organically wraps around the landscape. The result is a quiet, unassuming profile from the exterior that opens up into a vast, light-filled living space once you step inside.

Sunlight fills this warm and spacious living–dining area, highlighting the earthy tones and natural textures throughout. The terracotta roof creates a cosy, traditional ambience, while the modern furniture keeps the space clean and contemporary.
Wide sliding doors open the room to the green courtyard outside, allowing fresh air and soft light to flow through the entire home. The open kitchen, long dining table, and comfortable seating bring together everyday comfort and effortless style in one continuous space.

A calm walkway that sets the tone for the entire home. The wooden grid ceiling adds a touch of warmth, while the full-length glass on both sides opens the corridor to greenery and soft natural light. The stone textures along the walls bring a grounded, earthy character, and the subtle artwork at the end creates a peaceful focal point that completes the space. 

A serene space for pause, prayer, and reflection. Nestled within greenery, the garden shrine is designed as a calm focal point—where architecture steps back and stillness takes over.

A true rural retreat must respect the land it occupies. Sustainability was woven into every phase of the Ghatkesar project. We utilized advanced passive solar design techniques to ensure the home remains naturally cool during the harsh summer months and retains warmth during the winter. Wide, overhanging eaves protect the glass facades from direct solar heat gain, while strategically placed operable windows allow for continuous cross-ventilation. Furthermore, the property integrates a robust rainwater harvesting system, ensuring that the lush green surroundings are maintained with minimal environmental impact.

A bedroom crafted for quiet comfort, where the natural wooden four-poster bed and exposed terracotta roof create a warm and grounded atmosphere. Soft earthy tones, muted textures, and subtle greenery bring a sense of calm while keeping the space light and contemporary.

 The second bedroom embraces a more serene and nature-inspired character with cane detailing, earthy green tones, and timeless wooden elements. An arched wooden door, indoor plants, and balanced lighting complete the space, making it feel restful, breathable, and inviting.

The gently curving walkway guides movement through the garden, framed by a minimal pergola and a calm water body alongside. Designed to slow down the pace, this space encourages mindful walks, quiet moments, and a deeper connection with nature.

Soft greens, natural materials, and flowing forms work together to create a landscape that feels alive, soothing, and immersive.
